this charging dock is made from two solid pieces of silicone. The only seam is the bottom of the computer monitor.
Note: the holes for the charging cords is very tight and the silicone is very thick and sturdy. I would recommend widening the holes with a screwdriver or something solid, being careful not to damage the rubber, just stretch it, then insert the cable end. You can also apply gentle heat with a hair dryer to soften the silicone before inserting the ends of the cables.
The watch stand (small M0001 Macintosh) is not any trouble getting the charger in. The space is perfect to get the charging puck in place.
